Investigators say Yasmina moved to Pakistan from Australia with her Pakistani husband in 2014.
After arriving in the country, she and her children allegedly became increasingly isolated from the outside world.
According to police statements and local media reports, the family was confined to a deteriorating room and prevented from interacting with neighbors or leaving the property freely.
Yasmina reportedly told investigators that she and her children had been subjected to daily abuse and were deprived of basic freedoms.
She allegedly said:
"We were deprived of freedom. He beat us and controlled every aspect of our lives."
