Groomsman Allegedly Shoots Two Wedding Guests After Being Confronted for Eating Meatballs With His Hands During Reception

A Joyful Wedding Celebration Ends in Violence

What was meant to be a memorable wedding celebration in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, reportedly turned into a scene of panic and gunfire after an argument over table manners escalated into violence.

Authorities say a groomsman allegedly opened fire during the wedding reception after being confronted about eating meatballs with his hands instead of using a plate and cutlery. Two people were injured in the shooting, while the suspect fled before police arrived.

Investigators are now searching for 41-year-old Thomas Redrick Williams, who faces multiple criminal charges in connection with the incident.

The Argument That Allegedly Sparked the Shooting

According to prosecutors, the incident occurred on June 20 during a wedding reception at the Aria Business Center in Milwaukee.

Court documents allege that the confrontation began in the reception kitchen when the bride's cousin noticed Williams helping himself to meatballs with his bare hands.

She reportedly told him that he should use a plate and utensils instead.

What began as a disagreement over etiquette quickly escalated into a heated confrontation.

Authorities allege that Williams punched the woman after she challenged him, prompting her brother-in-law to step in and intervene.
